so 2 years back i broke my arm (and 3 ribs) snowboarding in Australia then 6 months later i broke my arm again snowboarding in colorado. the second break was above the plate from the first break as you can see in the x-ray. The doc took the first plate out and put in a new longer one. 

now i wear this when i snowboard till i get the plate removed...............
