I probably shouldn't be writing this yet, because it hasn't been officially announced. Either way...

I recently got an email that has informed me that the 48 Straight Tour sponsored by Jeep is canceled due to the economy that is in shambles. I realize the economy is effecting everyone at the moment, where some luxuries have to be cut out because people don't have the money they used to. Well its working its way to the athletes now where our events are being canceled. That is potential prize money, AKA livli hood. Arguably more important, we are not getting the exposure on CBS due to the cancelation of this tour. This hurts us and our sponsors which can trickle right back down to the consumer. 

I guess this is small rant, lets hope things change sooner rather than later.
