Dream of catching big air? Cruising down the mountain with a bunch of ladies for once? Or finding out what it’s like to step on a snowboard in for the first time? Join the ladies of shreddingbetty for a day of discounted lift tickets, lessons, equipment demos and giveaways at the 2nd Annual Betties Get On Board at Windham Mountain.

To celebrate the beginning of the winter season, shreddingbetty is bringing together all truly fierce snowboarders of the female persuasion for day of discounted lift tickets, lessons and equipment rentals. Regardless of if you have been snowboarding for years or this is your first time strapping in, Betties Get On Board is a great place to learn to ride or progress your snowboarding skills, while meeting new friends for future adventures.

Several snowboard and binding companies will be offering the opportunity to test out the new season’s female-specific snowboarding gear, including Burton Snowboards, Palmer Snowboards, Capita Snowboards and Union Binding Company.

Other event sponsors include Drop, Eesa Lux Layering, Elm Company, Lunabar, Nikita, Pom Pom Board Bom, SoBe, and Skullcandy, will be on-site giving away goodies to the ladies in attendance. Each female participant will leave with a goodie bag brimming with treats from sponsors.

In addition, shreddingbetty will be conducting a coat drive at the event to benefit the non-profit organization, One Warm Coat. Bring your gently-used snowboard and winter coats for donation.

Discount tickets and packages are available ONLY in advance at shreddingbetty.com and can be picked up on December 6th at Windham Mountain. Round-trip bus transportation available from New York City for $30 round trip/ $20 one way from NYC Ski & Board. Husbands, boyfriends, brothers, fathers, male friends and skiers also welcome.
