Description

There’s only one ski and snowboard competition where jibbing a satellite dish, propane tank and a telephone booth is the norm and that’s Red Bull Thingama-jib. Judging the event will be pro snowboarder Forest Bailey as riders will shred on reworked odd-ball objects with the best and most unique jibs taking the win. For those not down with the lingo, jibbing is the art of sliding on a non-snow surface with whatever shred stick you’re working with- skis or snowboard. The competition will be comprised of two divisions, Open Ski and Open Snowboard with all riders being scored on trick difficulty, creativity and style. Getting in on the action is easy; get there, sign up and ride. Registration will take place on-site with only 100 spots available. Red Bull Thingama-jib is free to attend and to ride, but be sure to grab your gear and your ID before hitting the lifts. You must be 18 and older to ride the course or have a parent/guardian present.
